Committee Reports:
Hall – Currently 6 rentals on the books, all threatened by the pandemic.
Projects in priority order:
Emergency exit signs needed - Installation complete
Electrical system check/ bring junction boxes and connections up to code
Dance hall seating upholstery stained, needs replaced - Estimates in progress
Foyer tile floor re-grouting or replacement – Estimates in progress
Sewer line needs replaced - Summer 2020 project plus:
Parking bumpers need anchored - Summer 2020 project
Ped path to front door needs pea gravel - Summer 2020 project
Roofing screws still pending
Need new rugs in front entry (inside and out)
Front doors are coming apart at bottom, need bolted and glued
Kitchen and dining hall floor needs refinished
Dance hall floor will need re-oiled
Kitchen needs exhaust fan
Agriculture - Another exotic bug - Asian giant hornet
Covid 19 disrupting markets and labor supplies
Education – Grad days postponed, summer session?
Legislative – Short session summary, Oregon rainy day fund
Pomona Report - Candidate fair set for May 3rd at Beavercreek has been postponed till the fall general election. Pies and servers will still be needed.
Community Service - Blood supply is critically low. See your red cross chapter. Anyone who has recovered from the corona virus may be extremely valuable as a donor as preliminary data indicate antibodies in their blood serum are effective against the virus.
